Online semiconductor manufacturing equipment broker Moov Technologies Inc. (Tempe, Ariz.) is moving headquarters and plans to triple headcount in 2022.

The company will occupy roughly 32,000 square feet at 100 Mill, an 18-story building in Tempe, Arizona. Moov plans to triple its headcount this year, taking the company’s total number of employees beyond 150. Approximately 75 percent will be based in the Greater Phoenix area.

Chip shortages are expected to spur a 10 percent increase in expenditure on semiconductor manufacturing equipment this year, hitting a record high of $98 billion, according to the industry trade group SEMI. Lead times on some types of equipment can exceed a year.

Moov provides an online platform that matches buyers and sellers of pre-owned semiconductor manufacturing equipment. CEO Steven Zhou and managing director Maxam Yeung co-founded the company in 2017.
