The brand transition from Fujitsu to On was due to take place with effect from October 1, 2018.

On Semi made a 10 percent investment back in 2014 and increased that to 40 percent in April 2018. On Semi has been ramping its production at the wafer fab and plans to take 100 percent ownership in the first half of 2020, the company said.
