Marketed by MSC, Sitime's SiT9201 single chip clock features an extended frequency range from 1 to 110 MHz, draws only 3.6mA and has a high stability between ±20 and ± 50 ppm.

Equipped with an integrated MEMS resonator, the component is accommodated in a 5-pin SOT23 housing measuring just 2.8×2.4×1.2mm. A cost-effective purely visual inspection is sufficient to check the solder joints. The housing normally used mainly for discrete components proves itself above all in applications which are exposed to high thermal stresses or strong vibrations. The temperature coefficient is around 75 ppm/K. The chip operates from either 1.8, 2.5, 2.8 or 3.3V. This means that the single chip clock, which is available both for the commercial temperature range of -20 to +70 °C and for the extended temperature range of -40 to +85 °C, is suitable for deployment in a wide variety of network, memory, industrial and consumer applications.
