Now the union is calling for a minimum salary increase of €100 for all workers and is asking Jean-Marc Chery, CEO of ST, to clarify the situation while calling for the strike to continue. It is not clear whether CAD wants the increase to be per month or in the annual salary.

CAD renewed a call for a strike on Tuesday November 17 and Thursday November 26.

CAD says the workforce cannot understand the situation because the company is doing well and yet the money is not being passed to the workforce, with some exceptions.

For the 3Q20 ST reported a net income of $242 million on revenues of $2.67 billion, a sequential increase of 27.8 percent.

The secretary-general of CAD has been making videos to explain the association’s position. (see https://youtu.be/bfi8qDMJqXE and https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCm…).
